Abstract

Relevance. The relevance of the topic is determined by the growing role of digital technologies in ensuring the effective functioning of agricultural enterprises under conditions of economic instability, climate risks, military threats, resource shortages and increasing competition. In the current environment, the innovative development of the agricultural sector cannot be considered only as the renewal of machinery or the introduction of separate digital tools. It requires a comprehensive transformation of the enterprise management system, a transition to data-driven decision-making, improvement of risk management and the formation of an adaptive development strategy.
The purpose of the article is to study the peculiarities of managing the innovative development of agricultural enterprises under conditions of digitalization and uncertainty, as well as to substantiate management approaches to the gradual implementation of digital innovations in agricultural business.
Methods. The study uses methods of analysis and synthesis, generalization, comparative analysis, a systematic approach, logical modelling and graphical methods to develop a model for managing the innovative development of an agricultural enterprise.
Results. The article defines the essence of managing the innovative development of agricultural enterprises as a continuous process that combines digital technologies, strategic planning, risk assessment, organizational adaptation and human resource development. It is substantiated that the digitalization of an agricultural enterprise has not only technological but also managerial significance. The main areas of digital transformation of agricultural enterprises are identified, including precision agriculture, satellite and drone monitoring, GPS/GNSS navigation, telemetry, digital resource accounting, ERP systems, Big Data and artificial intelligence. A step-by-step model for the implementation of digital innovations is proposed. It includes diagnosing enterprise needs, selecting priority solutions, assessing costs and risks, pilot implementation, staff training, monitoring results and scaling successful innovations.
Practical value of the study lies in the possibility of using the proposed approach by agricultural enterprises to develop a digital transformation strategy, select priority innovation projects, increase the efficiency of resource use and strengthen resilience to external risks.
Conclusions. It has been established that digitalization is an important factor in increasing the efficiency, adaptability and competitiveness of agricultural enterprises. Under conditions of uncertainty, digital innovations should be implemented gradually – from basic digital accounting and control to integrated management systems and predictive analytics. This approach allows enterprises to reduce financial risks, take into account organizational and personnel capabilities, test the effectiveness of technologies and gradually scale successful solutions.
