Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • Articles that meet the requirements of the State Attestation Commission of Ukraine, contain new scientific results that have not been previously published in other journals are accepted for publication.
  • The author of the article is responsible for the originality and reliability of the material presented, for the fact that the latter belongs to him personally, the accuracy of the facts (data) presented in the work and the quality of translation of quotes from foreign sources (if any).
  • The final decision on publication is made by the Editorial Board, which also reserves the right to additional review, editing and rejection of articles.
  • The following documents are submitted to the Editorial Board: a file with the text of the article (see File with the text of the article). sample of the article), named after the author's surname (for example: Petrenko or Petrenko). The article must be formatted according to all the requirements (requirements for the design of the article).
  • Articles, the authors of which do not have a scientific degree, must be accompanied by an external review of a doctor of science.

Author Guidelines

  • Requirements for the design of the article:
    1. The article should be written in Ukrainian or English.
    2. Universal Decimal Classification Code (UDC).
    3. Surname, first name and patronymic of the author (authors) of the article, scientific degree, academic title, position and place of workORCID, e-mail address.
    4. The title of the article should be short, reflect its content, correspond to the essence of the scientific problem under study; in Ukrainian and English).
    5. Abstract:
    • in the language of the article (not more then 600 characters without spaces);
    • in English or Ukrainian (at least 1800 characters without spaces). Mandatory elements of the abstract should be: the purpose of the article, scientific novelty, conclusions.
    1. Key words (5-8 words or combinations) in Ukrainian and English.
    2. The text of the article should include the following mandatory elements:
    • introduction (statement of the problemin general) and its connection with important scientific or practical tasks;
    • analysis of the latest research and publications,in which the solution of this problem was initiated and on which the author relies with the allocation of previously unresolved parts of the general problem, to which this article is devoted;
    • formulation of the purpose of the article(statement of the task);
    • presentation of the main material of the research with a full justification of the scientific results obtained;
    • conclusions and prospects for further research.
    1. References
    • Technical requirements for the design of the article:
    1. The volume of the manuscript is 20-35 thousand copies. characters with spaces, including figures, tables, abstracts and references.
    2. The article should be written in A-4 format of the text editor Microsoft Word or saved in the format of the specified editor, font – Times New Roman, style – normal, size 14 pt, spacing – single. Margins: top – , bottom, left and right – 2 cm, 2 смTab – 1.25 cm. The text of the article is typed without the use of inserts and hyperlinks.
    3. UDC (left-aligned, bold). Universal Decimal Classification (UDC).
    4. Information about the authors(right-aligned; font – bold). (see Sample).
    5. Title of the article (center alignment; font – bold, all capital letters).
    6. Abstract, keywords (justified; italics, 12 pt font size).
    7. The amount of tabular material and illustrations should be appropriate. The numerical material is presented in a table with a serial number (for example, Table 1.) and the title (printed above the table in the middle in bold). Illustrations should also be numbered and should have titles that appear under each illustration (e.g.,  Benefits of Effective Demand Structuring).
    8. Figures made in MS Word need to be grouped; they must be a single graphic object. For figures made in Excel, you need to send an Excel file in addition to the article.
    9. Formulas are executed using the built-in MS Equation formula editor and are numbered on the right side, 10 pt. Authors must adhere to the correct industry terminology (see state standards). Deadlines for all work should be unified. Put a non-breaking space between the numbers and the names of units (monetary, metric, etc.).
    10. Abbreviations of monetary and metric units, as well as abbreviations of millions, billions, metric (UAH, t, c, m, km, etc.) should be written without a period. It is necessary to distinguish between the characters "—", "–" and "-". The first of them is not used in manuscripts. If there is an abbreviation in the test, then give it in parentheses at the first mention.
    11. The reference is given in the order of citation (without repetitions) and is numbered manually. The list should contain only those references that are in the text. There should be a link to the latest domestic and foreign research. References to literature in the text should be given in square brackets, for example, [3, p. 35; 8, p. 56–59], in which the first digit indicates the serial number of the source in the list of references, and the second – the corresponding page in this source; one source (with a page) is separated from the other by a semicolon.
    12. The list of references, whichis given at the end of the publication, should be formatted in accordance with the National Standard of Ukraine DSTU 8302:2015 (https://lib.mnau.edu.ua/info5/2018/Opisan_metod_2018_web.pdf ) or in accordance with the requirements of the APA (https://www.bibme.org/citation-guide/APA/book/ )(American Psychological Association). The list of references is given, with the indexes DOI, References in the Romance alphabet (harvard reference system), repeating in it in the same order all sources of literature, regardless of whether there are foreign ones among them. For correct formatting, use the recommendations according to the international bibliographic standard APA, repeating the sources of literature in the same order.

It is mandatory to have a transliterated list of references, formatted according to the international bibliographic standard APA. Requirements and recommendations for transliteration can be found on our website.

  • Requirements for the list of references in the References section

    • The list of references, formatted in the language of the article, must be transliterated into Latin or, if the name of the source also has an English title, write it in English
    • The list of references should be formatted according to the APA standard (https://apastyle.apa.org/ )

The following documents are submitted to the Editorial Board: a file with the text of the article (see File with the text of the article). Sample of the article), named after the author's surname (Article_Surname), a file with an extended English abstract (Abstract_Surname) and, if necessary, files with figures, graphs, etc.). The following must be submitted: external review for authors without a scientific degree; information about the author.

Before sending the file, make sure that all the requirements of the editorial board are met, all the components of the submission are present: article, abstracts (Ukrainian, English), keywords (Ukrainian, English), information about the author(s) (Last name, First name, Patronymic, academic degree, academic title, position, place of work (Ukrainian and English), ORCID ID/Researcher ID, e-mail.

Scientific articles submitted to the editorial board must be reviewed.

After the article has been reviewed, it is sent for editing. The editing procedure involves checking the article on formal grounds, formatting in accordance with the requirements.

The presence of a positive review is not a sufficient condition for the publication of an article. The final decision on the expediency of publication is made by the editorial board.

After the decision on publication is made, the executive secretary informs the authors about it, indicates the terms of publication.

 

The average time from submission to publication is 3–6 months.
